Gersemia is an internationally recognized Norwegian SME (sole proprietorship) providing Research, Development, Innovation (R&D&I) and Consultancy services pertaining to technical and business developments within ICT- and knowledge-based scientific and engineering areas . Gersemias proficiency is based on the expertise and experience of its CEO Fritz Bekkadal. He holds an MSc degree in solid state electronics and microwave engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and his more than 40 years of experience comprises engagements within academia, R&D institutes and industry, predominantly focusing ICT- and associated knowledge-based disciplines, with emphasis on microwave and mm-wave engineering, wireless communications, radar technologies and radio systems engineering and applications. He is holding several international patents within the field of microwave-based sensor technologies for maritime surveillance applications, and has authored/co-authored some 145 publications.
