På Kaffistova i Oslo står norsk mat i fokus! Vi ligg midt i Oslo sentrum og her serverer vi vellaga, og sjølvsagt heimelaga, mat. Maten er laga av glade kokkar - og basert på gode, norske mattradisjonar. Norske spesialitetar, som til dømes raspeball, boknafisk og rømmegraut vert servert i rause porsjonar til ein hyggeleg pris. Og vi kan vel seie at våre kjøttkaker er dei mest populære i landet? Vi sel i alle fall over fire tonn kjøttkaker i året. Kaffistova has served traditional Norwegian food for more than a century. The first café opened in 1901 with traditional carved and painted wood-furniture. Some of the original interior is on display at the Norwegian Folk Museum at Bygdøy. In our days, the cafe is held in a modern and light style with several pictures and details connecting the present with the past. 220 seats on two floors allow us to arrange lunch and dinner for groups up to 100 people. We focus on Norwegian cuisine! Delicious, traditional "home-made" food prepared by cheerful chefs. Norwegian specialties such as raspeballer (potato dumplings), boknafisk (dried and salted cod) and rømmegrøt (sour cream porridge) are served in generous portions at friendly prices. We bake all cakes ourselves, and offer a traditional Norwegian breakfast each morning.
